I love the face-to-face nature of sharing with teachers. A live audience asks tough questions, laughs at my jokes, and makes my ideas better. Nothing can replace this experience.
But I also know that for every teacher that makes it to a talk, thousands cannot because of funding, distance, or a competing session.
And for those who do make it, it’s rare that needs, abilities, and instructional calendars line up well with the topics. I know what it’s like to try to implement an idea six months after the presentation, only to struggle remembering the finer points.
Byrdseed.TV is a project I’ve been imagining for years: an inexpensive, convenient alternative to physically attending presentations.
Here are the highlights:
- Unlimited Use When you sign up, you immediately get access to every video on the site. You can watch each video as many times as you want, from as many different places and devices as you want. And a new video goes up every Friday.
- Always Accessible I’ve done my best to make Byrdseed.TV compatible with the various phones, tablets, and computers. If you’ve got an internet connection, you can watch the videos.
- The Perfect Length Some videos are only five minutes. Some are fifteen. Each video is just long enough to cover the topic without being stretched out longer than necessary.
- Inexpensive Byrdseed.TV is designed to be affordable for individuals. For districts interested in multiple accounts and simpler pricing, I can make it easy on you as well! Please get in touch: firstname.lastname@example.org.
