I teach 10th grade English & I have the students turn a poem into a movie using original images & video by the students. They have to record themselves reading the poem and the images bring the poem to life. It was my way of getting them to examine tone & theme. Now, I will add the movie trailer concept as an intro to the entire unit. I think it will be a nice compliment to what I currently do. I love this!
