This is by far my favorite use of homographs: create a two-column matching activity, but use only definitions – no words.
Of course, the difficulty is in generating these columns. I’ve been cooking up a solution for you, and am now ready to show it to the world. It’s still a work in progress, but I figured it might be useful enough to put out there.
Currently, you can select from three difficulty levels (working on making these more accurate) and show/hide the words being defined.
