Order can devolve into chaos.
- Sometimes it happens because of an outside force – like dominoes being knocked over.
- Other times the chaos comes from within – like a dam cracking over time.
Students will think of examples of each. Then they’ll ponder, is it more common for an outside force to push order into chaos? Or does order fall to chaos within itself?
