As a brand new teacher, I discovered some rolled-up reading posters in my closet. I asked a veteran teacher what they were. Should I put them on my wall?
Oh no, don’t do that. We’re not allowed to post those anymore.
Befuddled, I asked why we had posters that we were not allowed to use.
Well, a few years ago, we were required to put them on the walls. Then, something happened and now we are not allowed to post them.
The veteran shrugged. Obviously this was not the only time something had gone from mandatory to illegal in their career.
