2022 Event: Ian’s Old Questions, Rewritten

After I retired from speaking at events, I decided to start making an “online video event thingy” each October. Here’s what I came up with for 2022.

This year, let’s take a trip back through time and explore actual questions I was asking my students 10 to 15 years ago First, I’ll share an old question of mine. You’ll have a chance to examine it, analyze it, and improve it. Then, in the second video, I’ll share my thoughts on what I’d do differently now that I’m a grizzled old veteran.

Bonus Materials! I wrote about ten techniques I saw myself using as I updated these old questions.

And, Byrdseed.TV subscribers can find the individual videos here as they’re released.

Conflict and Character

A question about how conflict affects a character.

A Pay Raise

Multiplying money across hours and weeks.

Caesar vs. Alex

Comparing leaders across time.

Volcano, Two Ways

Two perspectives about a volcano.

Name That Genre!
